PHP and ASP.Net and other technologies usually include a script timeout. This means that if the requested page takes longer than the timeout to complete then it just bails out. The prevents infinite loops or other heavy code from taking up too many resources on the server for too long.
Unfortunately, included in this time is the time it takes to upload the file. For your upload.php you need to change the script timeout.
i try to find out where can i set in the php.ini but it is not a good news. can you tell me where can i set it. i am using v2.1.0 beta 1 version and the os is win 2003 server & IIS 6.0 + PHP 5.2.5, i am not sure is time out or not i just know when i using some slow network to upload the file, the problem will appear. please help me. The PHP Manual has information on changing the timeout on a per script basis. You can also change the timeout for all scripts in the PHP.INI
